INTRODUCING

Palm Cockatoo

The Palm Cockatoo, recognisable by its large crest of feathers and deep black coloration, is one of the largest of the cockatoo species. It sports a distinctive red cheek patch that changes color when the bird is excited. Found in the rainforests and woodlands of northern Australia, as well as New Guinea and the islands nearby, this bird is as charismatic as it is imposing.
